Today I bring you this craft to give your home a personal touch. It's about making a decorative well out of ice cream sticks. A simple and homemade craft, quick and easy to do, that will help you to use, recycle and take advantage of spray caps. In addition, you can also do it with children if you prefer, as it does not require great precision. So if you want to take advantage of the time you can spend with them, and do some entertaining activity, it will keep you busy for a pleasant time. I show you the process of how to do it!
Materials
- Icecream sticks
- Scissors
- Cap of some spray or container (that is round and straight)
- White glue
Our Process
- Cut each popsicle stick in half lengthwise. Trim the rounded ends to remove the curve. Just as you can see the picture.
- Once you have a lot of them, cut them in half. Then you see sticking them with the white glue around the cap until the entire surface is covered.
- It has to stay as seen in the photo. When you hit them do it with the plug «standing». This will prevent them from not being properly aligned later.
- Cut off the tip of two popsicle sticks. Next, cut 4 popsicle sticks in half, put them in parallel and aligned, and to hold them hit them some leftover that you have left from step number 2. It will be the small roof.
- The sticks that you have trimmed the tip, stick them perpendicular to two opposite sides of the plug. Leave the part that you have cut out on top. Then you are going to place the small roof there, once everything has dried.
Finally you will only have to put the small roof, and place some ornament if you want! I put some artificial flowers that I painted in his day as a vase to give him joy. From there, the location is up to you! Like a bookcase, the hall, etc.
