In today's tic I show you how to make a heart-shaped air freshener, a practical and decorative detail that will be great for Valentine's Day to decorate the house and set it with that perfume that you like the most.
Makings:
To make this air freshener we will need:
- Invoice.
- Screen.
- Scissors.
- Pencil.
- Pins.
- Needle and thread.
- Sewing machine (Optional, can be sewn by hand).
- Cord.
- Button.
- Wadding.
Processing:
- Ready a template for the heart. Fold a sheet of paper in half and mark the middle of the heart, so you will get a symmetrical heart. Cut with the scissors along the contour.
- Cut a square of fabric and form a triangle, fastened with pins. (The measurement of the triangle must be large enough to fit your heart, you can make this one the size you want).
- Place below the template on the fabric triangle and secure with a pin.
- Pass the pencil around the contour and cut then leaving a centimeter around the perimeter.
- Sew with the machine a backstitch right where you had marked with the pencil. Always leave a few centimeters without sewing and finish at the beginning and at the end.
- Make some little ones cuts in the beak where the two curves meet perpendicularly, so that afterwards it does not pull that area.
- Turn the fabric, introducing little by little through the hole that you had left without stitching, until it is completely, you can help yourself with the scissors to remove the beak from the heart and make it perfect.
- Once it is completely upright, you can iron to mark the seam, and gradually introduce the wadding through the hole that you had left.
- One hidden seam to close the gap and sew the button in the center of the heart as a decoration.
- Cut a piece of cord, make it as you prefer and according to the size of your heart.
- Sew with a few stitches to hold it to the heart as a so to hang.
You already have your air freshener. Put the perfume you like and make as many as you like, you can place them on a door, on a shelf, on the chair. Great to decorate and give as gifts.
