How to make a koala keychain with Fimo - STEP BY STEP

In this tutorial I teach you to model a nice koala with polymer clay or Fimo. As you will see, it has a key chain to decorate your keys and take it everywhere, but if you want you can simply do it as figurehead, or you can even use it to decorate pencils y pens, or for a Photo frame. Either way, stay to see the Step by Step and that you can make yourself.

Materials

To make the koala you will need to polymer clay, Fimo or any kind of clay. You can paint it or use the modeling paste of colors. If so, you will need the following shades:

  • Light gray
  • Dark Grey
  • Black
  • Blanco

It will be good for you to have a knife to mark the clay.

Step by step

Let's start with the cabeza y body of the koala, since they are the central form. Just create a ball with color light Grey and press a little with the palm of your hand on the table, this will flatten the base a bit and it will remain standing.

To make them ears you must do two balls small ones of the same color light Grey. Squash them with your finger. Create two more squashed balls much smaller and colored dark gray, and stick them over the ears. With a knife mark some indentations on the edge of the ear at the top. You can now stick them on the koala's head.

La belly it's only one white ball crushed. Glue it to the front of the koala, slightly down.

The feet they are similar to ears. Again you do two balls small colored light Grey and you crush them. With the knife you make the same marks on the edge of the circle. This time, for the feet, glue the dark gray circle in the center and three smaller circles on the toes.

The arms his back drops color light Grey. To make the drop, take a ball and roll it with your finger on one side, you will see how only that part is sharpened and the other will be round.

The eyes they are the easiest. They are two small black balls. If you want you can simulate the gloss with two smaller colored balls white in each eye. Although if it is easier you can also paint him these little dots with acrylic paint and the help of a toothpick or awl.

La nose it is a black drop. As you have done the arms, you do the nose. Glue it so that the top of the drop is facing up.

And you will have finished your koala. If you want to do it key chain, click the hook and wait for it to dry. I recommend that in that case you varnish it in case it gets wet.
