Here is a very nice idea for decorating the balcony. With this craft work, we are going to decorate with the decoupage technique, a mini greenhouse where we can place two or three plants.
The materials to make this craft can be found without much research in any store of the Swedish company Ikea, and then look for the elements that make up the list of materials necessary to carry it out.
Necessary materials:
- round tip brush # 6
- flat tip brush No. 8
- glue
- photos of bees or whatever you want
- yellow acrylic paint (or any other color to taste)
- scissors
- cotton cloth
- sponge
- alcohol
First, prepare the diluted glue in a glass bottle with 3 parts PVA glue and water. Mix well with the tip of the flat brush no. 8 so that the glue is transparent and without lumps, assuming the same consistency of a yogurt. For the last preparation phase, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the entire surface of the glass with rubbed alcohol with a cotton cloth. This way the images stick better.
Assemble the mini greenhouse following the instructions. Paint with acrylic paint Color wood the parts listed in the picture in yellow, using the round brush. Even a single coat of color will suffice and no foundation is required on the underside as acrylic color also works as a filler.
From images obtained and that you consider suitable for decoupage, make color photocopies. Aim for around 15 of them. Be very careful when cutting out the details, especially the legs and antennae.
Spread a layer of glue on the back of each photo and place the cutout on the glass. Then place the mini greenhouse by passing a second layer of glue. Clean glue stains with a sponge and dry with a clean cloth. Continue like this for all the other shapes.
So our little greenhouse is complete and ready to fit our Facilities and decorate the balcony.
