Preparation: 

Step 1:

Fold the fabric (on the inner side) leaving 3/4 of it folded in half and 1/4 free to close over it, now sew the edges of the folded section.

Step 2: 

Now turn the fabric to the right and make in the part of the fabric that will serve to close the purse and sew a half-centimeter hem to give it a better finish and open the buttonhole in this section, then sew the button on the purse verifying that it is the correct point of attachment to the buttonhole.
