How to make a snail out of toilet paper tubes

We continue with the crafts with cardboard tubes of toilet paper for children and today I am going to teach you how to do this snail so fun and so easy. You will only have to dedicate 5 minutes to be able to make this little animal and it is sure that the little ones in the house will love it.

Materials to make the snail

  • Cardboard toilet paper tubes
  • Colored eva rubber
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Glue
  • Mobile eyes
  • Permanent markers
  • Eva rubber punches

Procedure to make the snail

  • Choose a cardboard tube from the toilet paper you have around the house.
  • Take the ruler and make a mark at 4 cm.
  • Cut out the tube.
  • Prepare a strip to line this piece of tube.

  • Line the tube and trim the excess on the sides.
  • Prepare a green rectangle to form the body of the snail.
  • Round off the top to make the head.
  • Stick it on the body.

  • Cut out a long strip of eva rubber, about 25 cm.
  • Roll it up with your hand as you see in the image the strip and release it so that the shape of the snail house is created.
  • Put some points of silicone so that it does not open completely.
  • You have already made the snail house.

  • Place some glue and glue the snail house inside the tube.
  • Adheres the moving eyes to the face.

  • With a fine marker, make the eyelashes, nose and mouth.
  • Make the horns of the snail with a thin strip and a ball.
  • Stick it on your head.
