This is one of those crafts that are as simple as they are elaborate. It is not as laborious as it seems, with a little morning, you can have a pulpit with fantastic wool. Today I tell you how to do it so that it is as perfect as mine, in the simplest way!
Materials
- Wool
- Aluminum foil ball
- Two needles with colored round heads
- Scissors
- 2 buttons or any scrap of black fabric
- Silicone (optional)
- Spring (optional)
Our Process
- Cut the wool into equal strips. A good trick is to roll it lengthwise and then cut it. Then tie the center part, as it appears in the first image.
- Thomas the ball of aluminum foil, and place it in the center from the knot from before. Wrap it up and in the opposite part of the knot from before, wrap the excess wool with a thread of it and knot it again. Leaving the silver ball inside.
- Separate all the excess wool with which you will make the legs. Divide it into 8 sections (you can use tweezers to separate them) and with each one, make a braid.
- Tie a knot at the end of each braid with a piece of wool.
- Put the buttons or pieces of black cloth with silicone, as eyes, on the head of the pulpit. If you don't want to, it's not necessary because ...
- … When placing the needles they will hold on by themselves. Do not take very long needles, when nailing them, They should be inside the aluminum foil ball. In this way, you will already have your eyes made.
- (From here it is optional) Take a spring and for one of the parts separate it. To do this you will have to force it a little with your fingers. You will do that so that hooking it up will be easier for you.
- Take advantage of the knot with which you made the pulpit head, and nail the tip that you have separated from the spring. You see turning it, so that it is grabbed.
- And that's it! You will have your pulpit ready. If any of the ends of the legs has been irregular, take the opportunity to trim it with the scissors. To make it look as uniform as possible.
With the spring you can hang it anywhere, and if you have not put it, then nothing, as an ornament for the bed. The grace of the dock is that, if for example, you put it near a window, or some place that can move, it is very cute and funny.
