We are in spring and flowers they are the perfect craft to celebrate. In this post I am going to teach you how to make flowers with paper circles, super easy and fast. They are great for decorating all kinds of works such as cards, boxes, etc ...
Materials to make the paper flowers
- Decorated papers
- Glue
- Circle punch
- Pompoms or buttons
Procedure for making paper flowers
- To start you have to choose a patterned paper, if it can be double-sided with different designs, much better.
- Mine is butterflies and pistachio green on the other side.
- With a hole punch circles you have to do 8 specifically to make the complete flower and one for the base, in total 9.
- Fold the circle in half.
- Fold in half again
- Open the piece and you will have a marked cross
- Bring the two lower tabs to the center as you see in the image, the one on the right and the one on the left.
- Flip the paper over.
- Bring one of the tabs to the center.
- Bring the other tab to the center.
- We already have done the base piece to make the flower. Do the same with the 8 circles.
- To begin to form the flower I am going to place cross 4 of 8 petals on the circle that will be to hold the petals.
- I will be gluing the petals with cold silicone, this glue allows me to move the pieces if I have not placed them correctly.
- Once the first four pieces are in place, I will insert the others in the center of two of the previous ones.
- To finish decorating the flower you can put it in the center pompoms, buttons or any ornament you have around the house.
You can make as many models as you want, simply changing the design of the paper.
