Materials that we will need to make our last minute gift
For the wrapper:
- Glass pot, not very big and its can have a nice shape better. But if not anyone you have at home.
- Various ropes or ribbons
- Two-color cardstock
- Paper punch
- Marker
- Scissors and glue
For the scrub:
- Coffee grounds. This scrub recipe is a great idea for repurposing grounds.
- Baking soda
- Coconut oil or, failing that, extra virgin olive oil
- Essential oil (optional) I recommend citrus that the aroma goes well with that of coffee.
Hands on craft
- First of all, we will clean the boat well inside. And we are going to do the scrub mixture filling a little more than 3/4 of the pot with the grounds of the coffee, we add a tablespoon of bicarbonate approximately (if the pot is very small, half a tablespoon) mix well. Add the chosen oil little by little, stirring until the grounds have completely darkened. It is important that the result is like grit without excess oil. If we have gone too much oil, we can put more coffee grounds and solved.
- We clean the outside of the pot and cover and begin to decorate.
- We make a label with the two cardboard and the paper hole punch.
- We surround the mouth of the boat with rope and before tying we pass the label through one end and we tie the rope.
- We continue decorating by adding ribbons or strings of other colors.
- We glue a cardboard round on the lid. It can also be a picture of coffee beans.
