Materials for the interactive puzzle for children
These are the materials we will need for the interactive puzzle for kids.
- a sheet of felt soft and resistant 50×50 centimeters
- Scraps felt of different colors to create geometric shapes
- Buttons colored and medium size
- Water and thread
- embroidery threads of colors
- Scissors
- A pencil
Step 1:
First we have to draw the different geometric figures on the scraps of felt, one of each color. We will make as many shapes as we want, in this case I have made a heart, a circle, a square, a rectangle, a triangle, a rhombus, an oval, a star and a crescent.
Step 2:
Once we have drawn the geometric figures, we proceed to cut them out. Now we are going to place the figures on the base and we draw the silhouette with pencil in the desired position. To decorate the shapes, we can give some stitches with embroidery thread around the edges. With scissors we make a small cut in the center to be able to pass the buttons.
Step 3:
Now we are going to take embroidery thread and we are going to draw the base of the geometric figures on the felt base. So the child can iidentify better where you have to place each figure. With a few simple stitches it will be enough, although if you like sewing you can make more detailed shapes. To finish, we are going to sew a button in the center of each figure so that the child can join the pieces of this interactive puzzle.
