It's summer and it is very hot, which reminds us of the desert and if there is a characteristic element of this landscape, that is the Cactus. In this post I am going to teach you how to make a magnetic eva rubber cactus for decorate your fridge this summer.
Materials to make the cactus kawaii magnet
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- Permanent markers
- Eva rubber punches
- Alcohol and a cotton swab
- Magnets
Procedure to make the magnet kawaii cactus
- To start you need a green eva rubber rectangle of the size you want to make your magnet.
- With the help of the pencil, round the upper part and cut out this piece.
- Add the arms, make them irregular so that it looks more like a natural cactus.
- Glue the arms to the sides.
- With a green marker I am going to make slightly wavy lines that will run through the body of the cactus.
- I am going to make the thorns with a green marker a darker tone so that there is contrast.
- To form the eyes I am going to use two white and two black circles that I have made with my punches.
- Once the eyes are formed, I am going to stick them on the face and also some blushes that I have made in light pink foam.
- Afterwards, I will make the smile with a black marker and the sparkles in the eyes with a white marker.
- To finish the cactus I am going to place a flower on the head and in the center with a pink marker I am going to make a spiral.
- We continue with the pot, you need these two pieces, they are very easy to cut.
- Glue one on top of the other to form the pot and trace the edge with a brown marker.
- Next, take a cotton swab and dip it in rubbing alcohol to blur the brown color and give our flower pot this realistic look.
- Use the white to give the pot a little shine.
- Glue the cactus under the pot.
- With markers, decorate the container making spirals, curves, dots, etc ...
- As our project is a magnet, I only have to stick one on it from behind and that way it is ready to be put in the fridge.
So far today's idea, I hope you liked it, if you do, do not forget to send me a photo through any of my social networks. Bye!!!
