Knot mesh to buy fruit

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to make a knot mesh to buy fruit recycling an old t-shirt. It is a good way to reuse clothes that we no longer want or are damaged.

Do you want to see how to do it?

Materials that we will need to make our knot mesh to buy fruit

  • Old t-shirt
  • Scissors

Hands on craft

  1. The first thing is to smooth the shirt and go cutting it into strips of about two or three fingers Wide. The more and longer strips, the larger the mesh will come out. We stretch the strips so that they become a churrito.

  1. We knot the strips of two in two in the center and we arrange them on the table next to each other as can be seen in the image. These knots will mark the center of the mesh. We will reserve one of the pairs of strips to make the handle and a loose strip to make the closure.

  1. From these knots We will go knotting the strips by taking a strip of knot with a strip of a knot from the side. We make a round knot around the central knots.

  1. Once finished this round of knots we make a second, a third, etc. Until we can no longer tie more. We cut the excess.

  1. We make the handle. To do this we take the two knotted strips that we have reserved and we make knots until the entire central part is knotted and leaving about ten centimeters untied at each end.
  2. We tie the handle to the mesh. It is important to tie it following the first and central knots.

  1. We put the closure stripFor this we are going to pass it through the last round of knots, passing one knot in front and another behind.

And ready! You can make bags of one color or of several by mixing different shirts.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
