Ladybugs for garden

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how make these funny garden ladybugs. They are great to enliven any corner of plants or lawns.

Do you want to know how you can do them?

Materials that we will need to make our ladybugs

  • We are going to need a stone for each ladybug that we want to make. Ideally, these stones should have one of their rounded parts (it will be the part that will go up).
  • Resistant red, yellow or orange and black paint.
  • Varnish (optional, depending on the type of paint that we have chosen. If it is not very resistant, it is better to put a layer of Varnish so that it withstands the weather well.
  • Brush.

Hands on craft

  1. The first step is clean the stones well. It is important for the paint to grip well on the stone. That is why we are going to rub them with a scouring pad to make sure we remove as much dirt as possible. If you have bought the stones in a decoration store, you can skip this step since the stones should be clean.
  2. Once the stones are clean and dry we will start painting them. For this we will paint most of the stone of color that we have chosen for our ladybug.

  1. With black we will draw the face, the line that separates the two wings of the ladybug's body and also decorate it with a few dots All over the body.

  1. To finish, let's get some white paint now draw two eyes. In the center of these eyes we will put a little black dot to finish them. This step is optional, because once they are placed in the garden, the eyes will hardly be seen.

And ready! We can now begin to decorate our garden to surprise those who see it with details like these beautiful ladybugs.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
