Macrame mirror

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how Make a Simple Macrame Mirror. These mirrors are very nice and given. A boho atmosphere to our rooms.

Do you want to know how you can do it?

Materials that we will need to make our mirror

  • A round mirror. The size of the mirror will mark the size of the end with the macramé since it will be about 10 cm more in addition to the size of the mirror.
  • Natural fiber rope for macrame.
  • Scissors.
  • Hot silicone (optional) is to strengthen the mirror but not really necessary.

Hands on craft

  1. Let cut a one meter rope approximately long. We are going to tie a knot so that the rope stays in a circle. East circle should be between one and two centimeters smaller than the mirror.

  1. To this rope we will go tying ropes about 30cm long. We will tie the knot xxx.

  1. Once the rope is complete, we will cut another 1m rope and we will put it at a distance of between 2-3cm. We are going to take this rope with the ones already placed in the previous rope circle with the XxX knot. This knot will make the 1m rope slippery. We will put two ropes with knot and two are knotted.

  1. We put the mirror on top of the macramé we have made and pull the last 1m rope to close it on the mirror. When it is tight we will tie a knot to close.

  1. Now we will separate the two rows of fringes well.
  2. Last we will comb the pieces of rope that are loose in parts, first the bottom row and then the top one. And we will cut so that they are all at the same height.
  3. So that the rope does not move, you can put some water mixed with glue or lacquer.

And ready! We already have our mirror ready to decorate our rooms.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
