In today's entry we will see how to make a recycled candle holder. And following the step by step you can make several at the same time, perfect for decorating a party table and making them the center of attention.
We will only need a few materials, some empty tuna cans and a little creativity and we will have our candle holders ready.
Makings:
- Empty tuna can.
- Modeling paste.
- Cord.
- Washitape.
- Scissors.
- Star-shaped mold.
Processing:
The first thing we will do is perform the star that will serve as an ornament for the candle holder. For it We will cut some modeling paste and make a ball, crush it and with the mold we will cut its shape. Next we will do a hole to be able to pass the cord later and finally with a stamp We will mark the desired shape as a die.
We could also avoid these steps and place any adornment that we have, depending on the effect we want to give the candle holder.
- We will glue the washitape around the can. In this case the washitape is 3 cm wide, otherwise you can give it two turns to cover the can.
- We will cut the cord leaving space to be able to tie the decoration later.
- We will pass the cord through the star. (If you are going to make several candle holders, the trick is to do it in series with all the steps).
- We will go around the can with the cord and tie the star with a knot.
And with this we would have our candle holder ready, we just need to place a candle inside. I have added a little coarse salt to keep the candle in the center and for a little decoration but this is mandatory.
I hope you liked it and that you can put it into practice, you know I will love to see it on any of my social networks. Until the next craft.
