Today let's see how to make a rustic candle holder recycling a glass jar. It will be useful for those summer nights on the terrace, or to decorate any corner of the house.
It can also be a very fun activity with children, because you can go out with the children to the field and collect a few dry branches that have fallen from the trees to make this rustic candle holder.
Makings:
- Glass jar for recycling.
- Hot glue gun.
- Dry branches.
- Sisal rope.
- Coffee type candle.
- Scissors.
Processing:
- Select a few dry branches that you have collected from the field. In my case they are vine, with very characteristic knots.
- Take measure of your glass jar and cut the branches at that distance, help yourself with the scissors to cut the fish, it can also be with a cutter, knife or saw ...
Note: The jar is better if it is without labels, because then they can be appreciated and the final result will not look good, if you want to see how to remove the labels I will show you HERE.
- Calculate the pieces that you need for it, I placed around the jar a piece of cord that was what gave me the measure and present the pieces on the table with that measure and placed as you see fit.
- Put two dots of hot silicone on the sticks and glue these in the jar, repeat this process until the entire jar is completed.
- Pass a few loop around the sticks with the sisal rope and tie a knot, or tie, as you prefer.
- Insert inside the jar the see her and you will have it ready.
You just need to light the candle and enjoy your rustic candle holder, you'll see that so nice lights are created.
I hope you liked it and that you are encouraged to do it, I will be delighted to see it on any of my social networks. You know you can like and share. See you at the next!.
