How to decorate glasses with marbled effect - DIY easy and fast

In this tutorial I teach you to decorate marble effect glasses, although you can apply this technique to any object of Cristal o ceramics. You will see that it is very easy, that you need very few materials and it is a very beautiful effect.

Materials

To decorate the marble effect glasses you will need the following materials:

  • Crystal glasses
  • Container
  • Water
  • Various colors of nail polishes
  • Toothpick

Step by step

To start decorating the marble effect glasses you will have to prepare the container This will help us to create the mixture of paints and introduce the glass in it so that it is impregnated with them, so you will have to get a container larger than the glasses, and also if it is much wider it will facilitate the movements. Pour water In the container, the amount will depend on how far you want to submerge your glass, although I recommend that you fill it well, since it is better than to spare. Then pour in one of the enamel colors you have chosen. I have chosen the purple.

You will see that the polish floats and stays on the surface. Apply the other color, in my case I have chosen a fuchsia. The choice of tones is important, try to make them two quite different colors, one stronger than the other. If you use two muted colors, it will not be so beautiful and the tones will not be so different marbled effect it will not be noticed.

The drawing is already beautiful like this, without touching it, but we can create more designs. With a skewer stick move colors smoothly. Do not stir or try to mix them, it is about moving the tones to create lines and shapes without completely joining the colors.

When you have the design to your liking, carefully insert the jar as far as you want it to be painted. And take it out without moving it anymore, just put the glass in and take it out.

And you will have your design printed on the glass. Let it dry completely and so you will have your glass decorated in a way easy y speed boat tour.

I have also done the test with the colors royal blue and turquoise blue, and the truth is that I loved the result.

Don't worry about washing them and putting them in the dishwasher, they will not fade if you have made them with enamels. So you will have some marble effect glasses unique and original.
