The first Sunday in May is celebrated Mother's Day and on many occasions we do not know what to give. In this post I bring you this card to surprise your mothers and she will surely be very excited because it will be a special handmade gift.
With very few materials we can create this simple work, but at the same time beautiful. We can even recycle and take advantage of pieces of cardboard that we have left over from other jobs.
Materials to make the card
- Colored cards
- Glue stick or silicone gun
- Colored eva rubber
- Eva rubber punches
- Colored markers
- Ruler
- Scissors
Production process
Cut out two pieces of construction paper with the following measures:
Grande: 32x24 inch (fold it in half to make it 16 x 24)
Small: a piece of 12 cm x 20 cm.
Once cut out, glue the small one on top of the large one.
With the help of a flower hole punch or the model you have at home make a few pieces of eva rubber.
Pick four and set them up like a flower garden. With green markers in different shades draw the stems and leaves of these plants.
With black marker put the word "Mom" in the flowers. Use a flower for each letter.
Then write the words "I love you" with the color that you like the most. Try to make some nice letters. If they don't come out directly, you can draw them first with a pencil.
To finish the card, I have added some details such as sun and a butterfly flying through the garden Remember that you can design it to your liking with colors, shapes, etc ...
We only need to put a Personal message for our mother or include a photo if we want. So it will be much prettier.
