If it happens to you like me that you like to give Christmas cards to congratulate the holidays, and you also like to make them yourself. Today I come with a fun idea as a craft, we are going to make three original Christmas cards made with wooden toothpicks.
Christmas is approaching so we are going to prepare things before they arrive and do not give us time to carry out those details so typical of these holidays.
Makings:
- Wooden chopsticks. In my case they are large, you can buy them at any craft center or in bazaars.
- Gomaeva.
- Glue.
- Red cardboard.
- White cardboard.
- Paint: White, black, brown.
- Black pen.
- Die hearts and circles.
- Washi tape.
- Felt balls.
- Double sided tape.
Processing:
To make the three cards I have followed the same steps but each one with a different decoration. For the three I have used five wooden toothpicks.
- Join the five toothpicks at the back with washi tape, so that they stay fixed.
Next, paint the toothpicks.
- Snowman: Mark a diagonal and paint the lower part white and the upper part black, you will also need a toothpick painted black.
- Snowman: All brown chopsticks.
- Santa Claus: Paint a little more than half white, it will serve as the beard.
Make the accessories, to decorate each card.
- Snowman: Punch five hearts and two circles in black rubber, you will also need a triangle for the nose.
- Reindeer: Punch out two blank circles and two shapes for the horns, in addition to the felt ball.
- Santa Claus: Cut out a rectangular shape for the hat and the shape of the mustache out of white rubber. A triangular shape in red gum, punch out two circles in black and one in white. Plus the felt ball for the nose.
Prepare the base of the cards:
- Fold the white dina 4 cardstock in half. Cut half a red card stock, and remove one centimeter from each side.
- Glue the red card, leaving half an inch on each side for each side with the double-sided tape.
- Pass a fake sewn with the black pen you see by scratching the outline of the red card.
- Snowman: Put a little washi tape and between the black and the white stick the toothpick on top and place the details for the face. Paint a few dots to finish the eyes.
- Reindeer: Glue on the horns, eyes, and nose. Paint a few dots to finish the eyes.
- Santa Claus: Glue the mustache to the eyes and the little ball of the naria. Make the hat and paint a few dots to finish the eyes.
