Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how make this cute owl with a cork. It is a simple way to recycle the corks and at the same time make animal figurines with which to play.

Materials that we will need to make our owl
- A cork, it is preferable that it is champagne due to the shape it has. However, we can make this craft with any type of owl.
- Two craft eyes.
- Hot silicone gun.
- Colored cardboard or eva rubber. The ideal is a color for the wings and another color for the beak of our owl.
- Scissors.
Hands on craft
- The first thing to do is clean the cork of any remaining beverage that may have stained it. To do this you have to boil it and let it dry well.
- Once the cork is prepared, we will glue the two craft eyes on top. These eyes the larger (but not disproportionate) the better, because it is an attribute of owls that can be easily highlighted.
- On the cardboard we will cut out some pieces like the one that can be seen in the following image, this piece will make wings for our owls.
- Finally, we will cut out a small triangle that we will glue with hot silicone under the eyes, right in the middle. It will be the beak of our owl.
- You can add other details if you want like the feathers owls usually have above their eyes. You can also paint the cork at the beginning of everything if we want to give our owl an extra touch.
And ready! You can start making this type of owls with the designs that you like the most.
