Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how make this funny egg carton penguin. It is a perfect craft to do with the little ones in the house at the beginning of these colder months.

Materials that we are going to need to make our Penguin with egg carton
- Egg carton
- Two-color card stock, one for the penguin parts such as beak and feet and another for the scarf
- Eyes of crafts or eyes made with white and black cardboard.
- Scissors
- Cutter
- Glue
- Black marker
Hands on craft
- The first step we are going to do is cut out a hole from the egg carton. We will try to make the edge as straight as possible so that it rests well on the table later.
- We paint the cardboard on the outside with the black marker. We will leave a part unpainted to simulate the white gut of penguins.
- Now let's make the details of our penguin. We cut out a triangle to make the peak, two feet and a rectangle to which we will make some cuts on the edges to simulate fringes. This last piece will be our penguin's scarf.
- We will glue all these pieces of cardboard in the body of the penguin. We will bend the feet to make a tab and be able to glue them to the inside of the cardboard of the egg carton. We will fold the scarf to give it a little more shape.
- Last we will roll our eyesTo do this, we will glue the eyes above the beak or make some cuts with the cutter to fit the eyes and attach them to the body of the penguin.
And ready! We have already made our penguin and we can begin to decorate our house with objects related to winter. We can also add a hat.
