Cookie monster with polymer clay

Triki tutorial cover

El cookie Monster or also known as Trikic, is a character that most people find quite endearing. Both for the little ones and for the not so little ones, with this tutorial You will learn to create the cookie monster with polymer clay and I give you the idea to carry it as a keychain.

Materials you will need for the craft

To make the cookie Monster you will need the following colors

  • BLUE
  • Blanco
  • Black
  • Brown
  • Light brown

I remind you that all colored clays can be mixed together, so if you don't want to, you don't have to spend a lot of money buying all the colors. If you want to create the light brown, simply mix the white with half the normal brown.

How to make the cookie monster step by step

It starts with the Tsar: Triki face

  1. Make a blue ball.
  2. Smash the ball slightly with the palm of your hand.
  3. With a knife he opens his mouth.
  4. Create the hair by making holes with an awl.

Now that you have the face, put the eyes:

Triki eyes

  1. Make two white balls of the same size.
  2. Glue them side by side.
  3. Stick them on the face.
  4. Make two more small black balls for the pupils.
  5. Glue them over the white eyes.

Triki does not separate from her cookies, so you should make it one:

You can also do it like pendanta magnet for the fridge, decorating a box, or even make smaller ones for pending earrings.

I remind you that you can use any kind of clay, like Fimo, Jumping Clay or Premo. If yours needs baking, the instructions always come in the container of each color. If instead you use an air drying clay in two days you will have dry the figure.
