First you need a wallet really to take measurements and make a template. Actually a portfolio it is nothing more than a set of leather rectangles, one on top of the others, and sewn together, which we then fold in half.
We will not use leather, but paper. Well, from a comic or magazine cut out three rectangles of three different sizes and cover with book covers.
Put the three rectangles one on top of the other, matching the lower left corner. You sew between them with wool, and you also sew the entire edge of the outermost rectangle. Folding the set in half and you have the wallet made. You can also make a closure by attaching a piece of velcro.
