The candle holders They are a decorative element in all homes that give warmth to any corner when a candle is lit and give a very intimate atmosphere for relaxation. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this candle holders recycling a can and a yogurt.
Materials to make the candle holder
- An empty and clean can of pate, tuna, etc ...
- An empty and clean Greek style yogurt container
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colored felt
- Ribbon or bow
- Aquarium stones
- Star punch
- Silver glitter eva rubber
Candle holder making process
- Once the containers are empty and clean, glue them one on top of the other. Keep in mind that you should choose those that have similar surfaces so that they can adapt perfectly to the size of the candle holder.
- Choose the bow of the color that you like the most, I have chosen the azure blue because it goes with the yogurt and it will be very good in the end.
- Make a double knot around the can to hide the joint and glue the bottom ends so they don't move.
- Then with a lighter or burner burns the edges a little to prevent fraying.
- Now i will place this felt flower as a decoration and some leaves. If you want to learn how the felt flower is made, I taught it in a previous tutorial CLICK HERE.
- Once placed with care it will be that beautiful. You can choose the flower that you like the most, even put more than one of various sizes, leaves, etc.
- To finish the decoration, I'm going to stick some eva rubber stars on it of silver glitter to give a little shine to the whole. I have made them with my eva rubber drill, but if you don't have one, you can glue what you have at home or stars that are used at Christmas for any craft.
