Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to make this nice rope door holder. Not only is it a very useful craft in the face of good weather to prevent the doors from hitting with the drafts, but it also looks very good.
Do you want to know how you can do it?
Materials that we are going to need to make our rope door holder
- Thick rope of the color that we like the most or that matches the room where we want to put it.
- A stone a little smaller than the size we want our door holder to have.
- Scissors.
- Hot glue gun
Hands on craft
- We take the stone and begin to go around with the rope covering a part of the stone but without adjusting. It is important to leave these turns wider to be able to pass between this rope and the stone the rope later. We will leave one of these rounds even wider as a handle. Another option is to turn the rope around itself several times and then put the stone inside. As more comfortable it is.
- We are winding the rope at the opposite ends, making sure that it is tight to hold the previous laps. As can be seen in the image.
- We pass the last turns through the gaps between the stone and the first turns of rope. We tightly tighten these turns and end up fixing the rope with hot silicone inside the other turns so that the end end is hidden. There should be a ball of string without the stone showing
- You can use different types of strings for one in each round or make the whole ball of the same type of string.
And ready! We already have our door holder ready. We can make as many as we need, all the same or of different types of strings to match each room.
I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
