Hello everybody. This tutorial goes dedicated to all those moms who are expecting a baby for very soon or those that already have one between 3-9 months.
A babies love labels, there is no doubt, when they take a toy they always end up playing with its label, that is why it has become very fashionable lately. toys with labels.
In this tutorial I will show you how I did a small doudou with labels in just a few steps.
Materials that I used to make a small doudou
- Printed cloth.
- Scissors.
- Mold.
- Ribbons
- Sewing machine, (we can do it by hand without problems).
Procedure
To make a small doudou, the first thing we have to do is make is a mold, I have used a CD because I wanted to make it round, I have drawn the circumference on a sheet and then I have cut it out.
Now, I basted the mold on the fabric and then cut out two equal parts. And then I turned them over and put them together leaving the faces inside out to sew it.
To continue with the making of this little doudou i chose several different tapes, of different colors, sizes and textures and cut out several pieces. Then I was placing them on the edge of the small doudou leaving the length of the ribbon inside. Once I had them all stitched together I sewed the small doudou along the edge leaving a small open space to turn it around.
When I finished sewing the little doudou trim excess ribbons before turning it over and then turning it over and with a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine I finished closing the doudou, this can also be done by hand if we do not have a sewing machine.
For the seams to conform we can pass it a soft iron being careful with the tapes as some can be damaged by the iron.
We have ready our little doudou for our baby or to give as a gift.
