Soap dispenser recycling a glass bottle and a plastic dispenser

soap dispenser

We are going to do a craft again recycling the things we have at home and we are going to do a liquid soap dispenser.

Do you want to see how?

Materials that we are going to need

soap dispenser materials

  • Glass jar of the size you choose. If you can choose one whose lid is the same color as the plastic dispenser, better, otherwise it can be spray painted.
  • Plastic dispenser
  • Metal tip and hammer
  • Hot glue gun

Hands on craft

  1. The first thing we are going to decorate the glass jar. For this we will write, make lines, dots or whatever comes to mind with the hot glue gun. Optionally, you can give a touch of paint to the jar. I prefer to leave it like that because I use colored soaps. Another option is while the hot silicone is still wet, sprinkle glitter on top, let dry and blow. In this way, where there is silicone, we will have a glitter relief.

Soap dispenser step 1

  1. Once the silicone dries, we take the metal tip and the hammer and we are going to mark the center of the metal cap. Once marked we will hit to make a hole where we can put the dispenser of plastic. It is important to go little by little and try to insert the dispenser, to stop as soon as it enters and is attached. If we go over the width of the hole, we can fix the dispenser with hot glue or silicone and that's it.

Soap dispenser step 2

  1. Now let's cut the length of the dispenser straw. For this we are going to carry out a diagonal cut, that will facilitate the entry of the soap. We check that it closes well.

Soap dispenser step 3

  1. Finally, we will eliminate by pulling or cutting the possible threads that have been loose from the silicone hot.

And ready! We already have our dispenser ready to be used. The good part is that if you get tired of the design, you can always remove the silicone and make another one.

I hope you cheer up and make this craft.

How well explained and how easy! I don't look at anything anymore, it's what I was looking for, I do it like this. Thanks!
