Today I show you how to make a soccer ball shaped ceiling lamp. If at home you have a lamp with a circular shape, either made of glass, or one of those made of paper, you can take advantage of it and totally change the look and turn it into a lamp for the children's room. If they like soccer, they will be delighted.
Makings:
- Circular shaped lamp.
- Black and white paint.
- Pencil.
- Ruler.
- Invoice.
- Scissors.
- Brush.
- Sponge.
Processing:
- If this is your case and you already have a lamp that you want to recycle, you will have to: remove the lamp and wipe it with a damp cloth.
- Prepare a pentagon and a hexagon and make the drawing on a sheet of paper. To do this, calculate the space you have to make these geometric figures more or less large. Think that they must have the same side measurement. Then cut with the scissors.
- Mark with the pencil a point at each of the vertices. Start at the top and with the pentagon.
- Hexagons go around the pentagon. Mark the pentagons with a cross So as not to get involved and you see joining each of the points with the ruler and pencil.
- The decoration begins: for this apply the white paint in the area of the hexagons. Think that if it is made of glass, as is my case; it has to be a suitable paint: stained glass or ceramic paint.
- So that the lines of the brush step do not remain, I have applied a sponge giving it small touches, before the paint dries.
- Do the same with the pentagons, in this case painting them black.
- Place now the mechanism for the light bulb and fasten the lamp to the ceiling.
It could also be used for a floor lamp or a wall light, as long as it is spherical in shape.
