Soda ring bracelet

bracelet

Hello everybody! How its goes the week? Surely you are taking advantage of it 'to the fullest' and you are looking forward to seeing new and fun DIY to share with the family.

Today, at CraftsON, we propose you a DIY to recycle the rings of the cans. We suggest you make a bracelet with them, but you can also apply this tutorial to make necklaces, anklets, hair bands, a belt, etc. An infinity of fun accessories that will help you reuse the rings.

Materials

  1. Can rings.
  2. A string, a ribbon, or a piece of cloth.
  3. Some pliers.
  4. Nail file and nail polish.

Our Process

We will take the rings from the cans and clean them with soap and water. Once dry, with some pliers we will remove the part that joined them to the can and with a nail file we will smooth the corners that may puncture. If they still scratch, we can apply a small layer of transparent nail polish to create a small film that prevents us from getting punctured.

Then we will pass the tape on one side starting from below and then we will pass it on the other side of the ring. This is how we will do it with all the rings until the bracelet is filled. Once done, we will cut the ends to fit our wrist and we will knot it.

To close the bracelet, we can also use a metal clasp that we can buy in any craft store.

Until the next DIY!
