Hello everybody. As at home we have three little ones, the fridge is always full of papers, drawings, doctor's appointments, school papers etc. And even though the fridge is big cannot put all visible artworks at once, so I decided to put all drawings together to one side and alternate a drawing every day and so everyone is happy.
But I ran into the obstacle that almost everyone the magnets we had in the fridge did not holdEither they slid down to the ground, or they fell straight down.
That is why I set out in search of some strong magnets for my fridge. I wanted them to be beautiful while being strong and this is what I am going to teach you today.
How to make some strong and beautiful magnets hold everything for the fridge.
Materials to make strong and beautiful magnets
- Magnets, in my case round with strong or extra strong hold.
- Round glass cabochons the same diameter as the magnets.
- Images or papers that we want to use to decorate the strong magnets.
- Colorless contact glue.
- Scissors.

Procedure
I decided on some strong round magnets, they measure 1,9 centimeters in diameter and have a height of 0,3 centimeters. I also took them stainless to give them more durability, I bought them in a store specialized in materials for crafts, there you can ask and they will advise you on the magnets and their holding force, I also bought the cabochons I wanted to use, of the same diameter and made of transparent glass.
As you will have seen in my other tutorials, they are a big fan of Gorjuss dolls and that I wanted my istrong hands with images of these dolls so what I did was make a Photo Shop montage with the images that I liked the most and then the I printed on photo paper so that they were of better quality.
When I had the images the cabochones and the strong magnets the next thing was to mount them. And I did it like this. First I cut out the image and glued it to the magnet with a quick-drying contact glue and when it was dry I glued top the cabochon. I recommend that you use a glue with brush this way it will be easier for you to glue and also than when gluing the cabochon press gently so that no bubbles remain and the image looks good.
Clever! We already have our strong magnets mounted and we can decorate our fridge and hold a mountain of papers and drawings.
