SUMMER CLAY HIPPOTAMUS - STEP BY STEP

Summer is coming and in this tutorial I teach you how to make a summer hippo sitting in a float, very much in keeping with this season of the year. If you stay I'll show you the Step by Step so that you can make yourself.

Materials

To make the summer hippo you will need any kind of clay o modeling paste (Fimo, cold porcelain, more flexible…). We will use the following colors:

• Grey
• Verde
• Yellow
• Black
• Purple
• Beige

You will also need some tools useful for modeling as a awl or with a knife. And to give you more details you can use acrylic paint in pink.

Step by step

Float

1. Create a thick line and close it into a circle.
2. Take small pieces of another color and make balls, sticking them all over the float.

Hippo

1. For body, roll a ball around one side creating an egg.
2. Glue a squashed line on the bottom to make the swimsuit.
3. In the center of the belly mark a hole for the belly button.
4. Create two drops for pins, mark two stripes with the knife to make the hooves and glue them on the swimsuit.
5. Do the same with the other two legs.
6. La cabeza it is also shaped like an egg.
7. Drill two holes for the eyes and insert two black balls into them.
8. For nose create two droplets and glue them by making a hole in them with the punch.
9. All the ears they are the same, but glued to the top of the head.
10. mark the mouth with a semicircular object.

Ice Cream

1. To make the ice cream, create a drop by rolling down one side of the scoop.
2. For the lines of cornet roll that drop with a knife.
3. On the cornet paste a ball, and make a drop that you must put aside as if the ice cream were melting.
