Beer tank to give away on Father's Day

War tank to give away on Father's day

Today's craft is focused on making a great gift in father's Day. You will like how with three cans of beer, a bottle and eva rubber you can make this original war tank. The steps are very simple and you will only need to add a few small details, such as a little gold card, glitter and a lot of hot silicone. To know more precisely how it is done you can follow our demonstration video below.

The materials that I have used are:

  • 3 cans of beer
  • 1 large beer bottle
  • Green eva rubber
  • Gold cardstock
  • Green glitter cardstock
  • Star Shape Die Cutter
  • Hot silicone and her gun

You can see this craft step by step in the following video:

First step:

We choose the three beer cans, we knock them down and put them together. We will take measurements of the amount of green eva rubber that we will need to be able to wrap them. The front and bottom of the beers will be left free, uncovered. We will glue the sides of the rubber with hot silicone. In my case I did not have the full length to wrap and I had to make a small joint with another piece.

Second step:

We place the part where we have made the union at the bottom so that it cannot be seen. We cut two long strips of gold cardboard, about 5-6cm wide, to stick them on the sides of the tank. The parts where they are not joined or joined are placed in the area below, in the same way so that they are not seen.

Third step:

We wrap with the eva gum the bottle of beer. We only wrap the cylindrical body of the part where the bottle is held. We will place the parts that have been joined and closed with the silicone in the lower part of the bottle, which will finally lie down. We place the bottle on top of the beer cans and so that it is well attached we will glue it with silicone.

Fourth step:

With the star die cutter we make little stars in the green cardstock of glitter. We are going to stick them on top of the beer bottle, messy, without any kind of order.

Fifth step:

We cut a piece of gold cardstock to wrap the mouth of the beer bottle. We make another star again and stick it on the plate, so we don't leave the beer brand visible. With these steps we will have our war tank and beer ready.
