Women always have a toiletry bag to store all our makeup. These we always have to renew them since they remain old and very dirty because of the paint. So, today we present this toiletry bag made with the Patchwork technique.

This patchwork technique uses scraps of all kinds to form creations as precious as this one. In this way, we use the recycling to be able to make new objects for our day to day.

Materials

  • Scraps.
  • Fabric for the lining.
  • Scissors.
  • Cutter.
  • Pencil.
  • Fabric marker.
  • Ruler.
  • Cutting base.
  • Zipper.
  • Decorative zipper pull.
  • Sewing thread.
  • Quilting thread.
  • Transparent thread.
  • Piece of fislin.
  • Piece of boata.
  • Serrete sink.
  • Padded insole.

Our Process

  1. Draw a rectangle on the fislin and make diagonals 1,5 cm apart.
  2. Cut out 3 cm strips of different fabrics.
  3. Sew the strips on the fislin.
  4. Trim the leftovers from the edges of the rectangle.
  5. conduct a curved cut at the top and bottom.
  6. Assemble the part on the pageantry and join with serretes.
  7. Cut the leftover boata.
  8. Assemble the zipper.
  9. Join the sides and perform a horizontal seam.
  10. Sew the lining to the toiletry bag and turn around.
