Watermelons are a very proper food for the summer, therefore, we have taken the idea of making a fun coaster with this colorful summer fruit. In this way, our glasses will be well protected at this time of year.
This craft it is very simple to perform and the little ones of the house can give you a hand if you want to keep them entertained a bit.
Materials
- Cork sheet.
- Paper.
- Scissors.
- Pencil.
- Paint (red, green and black).
- Brush.
- Cutter.
- Ruler.
Our Process
- We cut the cork sheet as a circumference.
- As well we cut the paper but with a smaller measure to leave an edge.
- We paint this green border.
- We remove the paper and paint that inner surface red. We let it dry.
- We paint the pips typical of watermelon in black on the red surface.
- With a ruler we mark 4 equal brands both in the center and throughout.
- We cut the different portions to make the coasters.
