We make an easy plate or bowl to collect food peels

Hello everyone! It is often the case that we buy a bag of sunflower seeds, pistachios or the like and we must discard the shells. Therefore, today we bring you a very simple craft to make a bowl where to deposit it and then throw it in a wastebasket. It is important to take care of our environment and collect our waste. This is a very simple way to do it.

Do you want to know how you can make this bowl?

Materials that we will need to make our bowl or plate

  • Sheet of paper, cardboard or similar, can also be used for newspaper or magazine paper.

Hands on craft

  1. First of all is flatten the paper if it isn't. In our case it was a thick paper where gift paper had been wrapped, so to remove that tendency to roll up on itself, we have rolled it in the opposite direction.

  1. We fold twice two sides that are opposite. The pleats should be about two fingers wide.

  1. We fold again twice the other two sides that have been left unfolded.

  1. We tighten all the edges well so that they stay well folded and now comes the way to make that bowl or plate stand up. For this, we are going to lift the corners, and we will put one inside the other as we see in the images below. It's important to put attention on the corner that has to get into or wrap around the other must be the ones above, that is, the folds of the last sides that we have made.

  1. We can put something to hold those corners better, like zeal or similar, but in reality, it would not be necessary.

And ready! We can now enjoy our appetizers with all the tranquility and with conscience.

I hope you are encouraged and do this craft whenever you need it to keep our environment clean.
