Today we are going to do another recycling craft. This time we are going to do a owl recycling toilet paper rolls.

Materials that we will need to make our owl with toilet paper rolls
- Two cartons of toilet paper
- Brown or gray felt or cardstock
- Craft eyes (not necessary, you can also make the eyes with cardboard)
- Marker in a yellow or orange color
- Hot psilicone gun or other glue
Hands on craft
- We take one of the cartons of toilet paper roll and cut it into 4 parts. It is important that the circles remain closed. One of the pieces must be bigger That the others.
- We will cut the 3 circles the way it looks in the image below and we will paint with marker yellow or maranaja (to taste). It can be painted all over or in stripes.
- With the brown felt we will cut two strips and we will give them the same shape than the three pieces of roll.
- We take the fourth piece of the roll, we flatten it and we go to draw the wings of the owl and we will cut them. In this way we will have the two symmetrical wings. Then we will paint them in stripes.
- Time to start ride the owl. We take the other roll of toilet paper and we will fold in the two edges of one of the ends as if they were two flaps. This is how we make the shape of the head. We will do a cut spanning 2/3 of the roll as you can see in the image. Thanks to this cut we can reduce the diameter of the owl's body and go inserting the three rings that we have prepared.
- After we put the felt strips between the cardboard ones and two felt threads on the beaks of the head to simulate the feathers of owls. We will fix everything with silicone. We will glue the wings.
- To finish we will put the eyes and the beak, a felt triangle.
