Witch's broom to decorate on Halloween

Hello everybody! We bring you another craft for decorate on Halloween and with natural elements: a witch's broom.

Do you want to see how to do it?

Materials that we will need to make our witch's broom to decorate on Halloween

  • Dry branches of different sizes that we can take from our garden or from the field as in my case.
  • A piece of rope or different ropes or black, purple or orange fabrics, whatever you have at home.
  • Pruning shears

Hands on craft

  1. The first thing is to eliminate all the dry leaves that the branches that we have chosen may have.
  2. Then we will find what it is the thickest branch since that will be the handle of our witch's broom.

  1. We will be breaking and separating the different twigs and arranging them carefully around one end of the thick branch. Must get a broom tail with volume so do not be afraid to put many twigs, the more the better. Once we have them arranged as we like, we will fix the branches well by winding the piece of rope and tying it well.

  1. With the pruning shears let's go shaping our broom. We cut the twigs that stick out the most from the sides and the end of the tail. To make a more beautiful broom, we can choose to shape it in two ways: leaving straight end or beak-shaped.

  1. To top off our broom We can put on the rope a piece of cloth of some dark or orange color.

And ready! We can now decorate our house or entrance with this witch's broom.

We can accompany this craft with a witch crushed under the doormat, A black cat made of cardboard, a pumpkin or any element related to witches and Halloween.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
