If you were looking for some tablecloths for Christmas dinner that fit your style of decoration and you have not found them, today we show you how to make your own hand-painted Christmas tablecloths, the elaboration and use of the stencil, a very simple method that can allow you to create designs to your liking to personalize unicolor tablecloths and place them on your table this Christmas.
Makings:
-Paint for fabric in the color of your preference
-Small brush
-Thick cardboard
-Unicolor tablecloth
-Designs of your preference printed in real size.
-Cutter
-Carbon paper
Preparation:
Step 1:
Take the design of your choice printed on a sheet of paper and draw it by placing the carbon paper between the design and the thick cardboard.
Step 2:
Take the cutter and very carefully cut out the shape drawn on the cardboard.
Step 3:
Discard the figure and keep the hollow mold with the silhouette of your design.
Step 4:
Spread the tablecloth on the table or on the floor, take the small brush, your fabric paint and the cardboard mold and place it on the part of the tablecloth you want to paint (taking into account the orientation you want to give the figures)
Step 5:
With a little fabric paint on your brush, move the brush up and down in a continuous movement over the mold (it is important that the brush is not too wet with paint so that the shape of the mold is perfect and does not expand or misshapen)
Step 6:
Repeat the process until you complete the areas you want to paint on the unicolor tablecloth and then close your painting, put away your work tools and wash your hands well.
Step 7:
Take the tablecloth carefully and put it in a ventilated place (or if you can leave it where it is without risk of damage) and let it dry for at least 6 hours.
Now you have the tablecloth that you wanted so much to get in stores, made by yourself and ready to wear on your table.
