DIY, Christmas card with children's drawing

card-drawing

Today I come with a DIY, Christmas card with children's drawing Yes, as you read it! the drawing is made by the little one of the house !!!.

An activity that we can do with children, they make a drawing and then we assemble it to make the Christmas card, I show you how:

Makings:

  • Cream cardstock.
  • Red cardboard.
  • Fine cord of mouse tail.
  • Scissors.
  • Zeal.
  • Double sided tape.
  • 3D adhesive foam.
  • Cutter.
  • Watercolor.
  • Ruler.
  • Pencil.
  • Glossy.

Processing:

The creative process of this card is very simple, we only need a drawing made by a child and follow these steps:

  • As I said we will start from a children's drawingFor this, ask a child to make one of his Christmas drawings, he will be delighted. (We can also make the drawing ourselves). This one has measures of approximately fourteen by eight and a half. We will mark with the watercolors small points of color, It is not about painting everything, but about giving it a note of color that will match the rest of the card.
  • We will pass two turns of the cord or thread through the drawing and we will fasten with a knot. Cut off the surplus.
  • We will put 3D adhesive foam. So that it gives relief to the drawing, by the back of the drawing and we will stick it to the cardboard. Leaving half a centimeter on each side so that the color can be appreciated. This time I combine red and white.

  • We will put double-sided tape on the cardboard and we will stick to the cardboard that will be the card.
  • We will finish off by placing glossy accents at different points on the card to give that bright and elegant touch to the card.

I can't like the result any more, you just have to combine the colors well for that final effect, I recommend you use only two, to achieve that naive effect that I was looking for.

I hope you liked it and that you put it into practice, you will see how happy the children are when they see their framed drawings !!!
