Today I show you how to make a stuffed animal in the shape of a cat and a pillow. A very fun and easy to make stuffed animal and surely the little ones in the house will love it. I leave you with the step by step:
Makings:
- Felt.
- Screen.
- Sewing machine (It can also be sewn by hand with thread and needle).
- Wadding or filling.
- pencil or marker.
- Scissors.
Processing:
- Cut two rectangles out of felt twenty-four centimeters wide by 41 centimeters long. Make a cut in the two rectangles for the ears as seen in the image.
- With the pencil or marker, draw two cross lines for the whiskers and two half curves for the eyes. Pass a few stitches with thread back over the marked lines and also mark the mouth.
- Cut a triangle for the nose.
- Pass a backstitch and introduce a little filling.
- To make the pocket mark half a circle about fifteen centimeters in diameter, for this you can help yourself with a plate or round object.
- Present it instead holding the fabric with a few pins or needles.
- Pass a lace stitching all the way around. If you don't have a machine, you can do it with a needle and thread by hand.
- Face the two parts: right with right and fastened with pins or needles.
- Stitch all the way around, remembering to leave a space to be able to turn around later, in the image you have it marked with two pins.
- Once you have turned it over carefully to get the tips of the ears well (you can help yourself with the tip of the scissors so that the corners come out completely), it is time to go putting wadding in until the stuffed animal is filled.
- Just left close the gap with hidden stitcha so that it is not appreciated in the final result.
