Today we are going to make a 3D letter in a very easy wayWe will only need a cork letter from those sold in bazaars, the rest we have at home.
With it we can decorate the children's room, It is a personal and unique object that the little ones in the house will love, we can also make it as a gift, which will surely be a success.
Makings:
- 3d cork letter.
- Cardboard.
- Decorated paper.
- Scissors.
- Cutter.
- Ink.
- Glue stick.
- Lima.
Processing:
- We cut our cardboard into strips. To calculate the measurements: we will measure the depth of the cork letter and we will give it one more centimeter, that will be the width and for the length: it can be the measurement that we want. (In my case I have cut an A4 card).
- We put double-sided tape on the cardboard and we begin to cover the side of the letter.
- When we run out of a strip, we just have to apply another by mounting a little on the previous one, so that the cork is not visible.
- We will cut the excess when we reach the end.
- We will do some cuts in scrap cardboard, both in the angles and in the curves.
- We will fold the excess so that it is glued with the double-sided tape that we had put on.
- We will put glue stick all over the surface of the letter and the we will stick to our decorated paper.
- With the cutter we cut all the excess of the paper, following the outline of the letter.
- We turn it around and with a file we give the edges for a more polished and professional look.
- Finally we have ink all the way around and we have it ready to decorate as we like.
As you can see, this decoration is football, but changing the decorated paper and the details that we put can give it a different style, I can think of a paper decorated in flowers, and stick a butterflies all in pink tones, it can be perfect for a girl.
