La Christmas It is already close and you can already see the typical decorations in the markets to prepare the Christmas tree and the living nativity scene. However, you can make these decorative items yourself with simple materials such as this Christmas ball with felt and polystyrene.
In this way, you can save a little and, in addition, be able to spend an entertaining afternoon with the children doing this craft to redecorate the house with Christmas motifs as with this Christmas ball for the typical tree of these holidays.
Materials
- Polyspan ball.
- Christmas red and green felt.
- Tie.
- Scissors.
- Needle.

Our Process
First, we will make a small incision in the middle of the polystyrene ball in order to ensure the chosen design that will be a kind of mosaic in the typical colors of Christmas, intense red and green.
Then, we will draw the necessary marks to make the design that we want the Christmas ball to have. In my case I have made a partition of 16 equal parts.
Then, we will measure the felt for each part and cut it by taking out 8 triangles in red and another 8 in green. With the cutter we will make the respective incisions, without reaching the end, to be able to introduce these cuttings of felt there.
Finally, when the full christmas ball we will make the loop to hang it from the tree. With a thin strip of bow we will make a bow and then we will place another part to hang it. We will join it to the Christmas ball with a pin.
