Procedure to make the Christmas tree with corks

Next I will explain the step by step to create this recycled Christmas tree.

  • To start you need bottle corks.
  • On a cutting board and with a knife cut them in two equal pieces.
  • We will need a total of 15 pieces of cork.

  • With the hot glue gun I am going to glue the corks very carefully.
  • I will gradually join the pieces.
  • To form the complete tree we need the rows of: 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 units.
  • Once all of them are done I will glue them little by little and put silicone in all the holes.

  • With the circle punch and several pieces of scrap paper that I have left over from other projects, I am going to make the balls that will decorate our tree.

  • Once you have the balls you have to stick them on the corks.
  • Decorate to your liking and intersperse the designs to avoid repeating them.
  • When you finish, do the base so that the tree can be held.

  • Making the base is super easy, you just have to glue two corks and join them.
  • Then i will do two stars to stick them together.
  • I'll place it on top of the tree carefully.

  • And once the tree is glued to the base, it can be placed anywhere in your house.
  • Remember you can do totally different designs combining different papers.

I hope you liked this idea a lot and if you put it into practice, send me a photo.
