DIY how to make a spring notebook from a sheet.

Do you love notebooks? Do you want to have one the way you like it? With your needs and tastes. Well today I come with a DIY that will come in handy for you: how to make a spring notebook from a sheet.

For this craft I have used a binder, but if in your case you do not have one, you can take it to a stationery store, since there they have these machines and they can bind them, or you can also make this notebook with two rings by yourself. holes, sure to be nice and personal.

Makings:

  • Print for the cover of the notebook.
  • Gray laminated cardboard.
  • Decorated paper for the back cover.
  • Corners or corners.
  • Spring or rings.
  • Ribbon for the bow and decoration.
  • Double sided tape.
  • Scissors.
  • Foldable.
  • Folios, white and colored, checkered sheets.
  • 2 Cards.
  • Hammer.

Processing:

  • The first thing you have to take into account is the size of your notebook. Mine is Din A5 size. (half a folio). Cut the cardboard to the necessary measures and double-sided tape the sheet.

You can also make this notebook without a ready-made sheet and write or draw once the notebook is made.

  • Cut an angle of 90º each of the corners of the sheet and fold inwards with the help of the folder or the tip of the scissors, sticking with the double-sided tape.

  • Do the same with the back cover. To do this, line the cardboard with the decorated paper.
  • To finish the tapas cut a folio-size card in half and glue on the inside with the double-sided tape. Both on the front and back covers.

  • Now prepare the interior: Cut the different types of leaves to the desired size.
  • For my notebook I have made separators, cut the cardboard that protrudes half a centimeter than the sheets and make a notch, that will serve as a separator.

  • It's time to use the binder. (You can find many tutorials on this topic on the Internet). If you do not have a binder you can take it to the stationery to have it bind, or make two holes to insert the rings later.
  • Place the corner pieces in the four corners with the help of a hammer.

  • Insert the spring through the holes. (Or if it is your case the rings). Make sure the inner sheets and dividers are in place.
  • Last tie a bow on the dock and ready you can enjoy your notebook.
