Colors that you will need to make the Fimo or polymer clay booties
This depends a bit on how you want to design the booties, but if you make them like in this tutorial, you will only need two colors. One for the booties and another for the base and the laces, which in this case I have used the same to combine.
I recommend that you choose a light tone for the base, since it is designed to write the name and date of the boy or girl who stars in the celebration, so you can give it to the guests as a souvenir of the event.
Step by step
Let's start at the bottom.
- Create a ball with the light shade.
- Squash it with force and with a flat utensil to make it smoother.
Now we will start with the booties.
- Make two equal balls of the color you have chosen for the booties.
- Create a drop with each ball by rolling your finger down one side of the ball.
- Gather the two drops a little at the tip part and stick them on the base that you created before.
To make a part of the laces, instead of making a long churro and rolling it up, I will tell you a trick to make it easier and securely fit.
- Create two balls of the color you want the laces.
- Crush them.
- Glue them on the booties on the most pointed part of these.
As you can see, it will seem that it is the cord, because it will cover the bottom and top, but in reality it is only a squashed ball.
- Create two balls of the same color as the booties.
- Place them over the part of the laces that you just made.
- Press the two balls with an awl.
- Make a ball the color of the laces.
- Create a thin churro with it.
- Fold it in half creating a V and glue it on the booties.
- With another squirt, create a B.
- Paste it over the V above.
Do the same with the other bootie and this will be the result.
