Do not miss how to make this super craft with figures of Wise Men and in cardboard tubes. We can recycle the tubes and with a little ingenuity we can paint and decorate them with pieces of cardboard and make some pretty faces. With its hollow shape we can fill them much later with delicious sweets. It is a great idea for children to have as a gift.
The materials that I have used for the Magi:
- Cardboard roll to form three small tubes.
- White cardboard.
- Brown cardstock.
- Orange card stock.
- Beige cardboard.
- Glitter red card stock.
- Gold colored cardstock with glitter.
- Blue glitter card stock.
- Acrylic paint in red, blue and yellow.
- Three small beige pompoms.
- 6 plastic eyes for crafts.
- Hot silicone and his gun.
- Pencil.
- Scissors.
- A brush

First step:
We paint the rolls of cardboard, each one a different color. We will use the color blue, red and yellow.
Second step:
We draw a rectangle on beige cardstock, of an approximate size that can fit as a 'face' in one of the tubes. We will cut it out and we will use it as a template to make a replica of another of the same color and another of brown color.
Third step:
We draw on a white cardboard one of the whiskers. We will cut it out and we will use it as a template to make a replica of three others of the same color, and another two orange.
Fourth step:
We place the white whiskers on top of the cardboard and draw underneath the beard. We will cut it out and use it as a template for make a replica of another equal and another one of orange color.
Fifth step:
On the back of the gold card with glitter we draw a crown of three spikes and we cut it out. With the same mold we will use it as a replica to trace two other crowns but this time with rounded shape. We will make a blue crown and a red one.
Step Six:
Let go gluing all the pieces. Better to use the hot silicone to make the cardstock stick quickly. We will first stick the face, then the beard and then the mustaches. We glue the crowns and finally the eyes and the nose with the pompoms.
Seventh step:
We will have the tubes ready so that we can fill them with the goodies. We can put a stopper under the tube, sticking a little paper and silicone, and that way they will not escape.
