The matryoshka or Russian doll It is one of the most representative souvenirs of this country. They are usually tucked inside each other and can reach up to 20 units. But in this post I am going to teach you how to make a very easy and beautiful one to decorate your craft work.
Materials to make the matryoshka or Russian doll
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- Compass or some circular object 6 cm in diameter
- Permanent markers
- Buttons
Procedure to make the matryoshka or Russian doll
- To begin with, draw the shape of a pear in eva rubber of the color that you like the most. I recommend that you use two shades of the same color.
- Cut out this piece, and make another exactly the same andn the other color.
- Now draw some eyelashes in the clear eva rubber as you see in the image, similar to a mustache and cut out the piece.
- Glue the piece small on top of the big one.
- For form the face, cut out a circular piece of 6 cm in diameter in skin color and also with the same piece, do the hair of the wrist.
- Glue the hair over the face and place this set on top of the doll body.
- Start to draw the details of the face with permanent markers: eyes, nose and mouth. You can use the white marker to give it some shine. You can also make the details in the hair.
