Today I come with another recycling craft, let's see how to make a piggy bank recycling a glass jar.
This coming year I have decided to take a trip! And so that there are no excuses I am going to save so I have prepared this very cool piggy bank and I hope to fill it during all this time !!!
Makings:
We are going to need:
- A glass jar.
- Two pieces of cardboard.
- Lace and ribbon.
- Double sided tape.
- Sticky letters.
- Permanent marker.
- Cutter.
Processing:
- After removing the labels from the jar. We choose the phrase we want to put and we mark where the letters will go so that it fits us well.
- We glue the letters to the jar, pressing well with your finger so that they adhere well.
- With the permanent marker we are making little dots around the letters. Here comes the creativity of each one, we can use different colors, review the letters, make lines or scribbles ... in short, let our imagination fly.
- Then we carefully peel off the letters and they will appear negative until we have the whole sentence.
- For the lid We mark the shape of the hole on the inside that we want for the piggy bank.
- With great care and with the help of the cutter we will make cuts until we get our hole.
- We make a cookie shape to decorate the lid. In my case I have used a die, but you can make a simple circle and cut it with scissors.
- We put tape in the center of our cardboard and mark the hole in the lid. With the cutter we cut as indicated in the image.
- We add the rest of the double-sided tape so that the cardboard is well adhered to the lid.
- We glue the cardboard and with the help of a folder or with scissors we fold and put the cardboard of the hole so that it is lined and there is no danger to cut ourselves.
- We glue a tape around the contour of the lid.
- We make a label with the other cardboard.
- We pass the cord around the contour of the jar, we put the tag and tie a knot.
- We tie a knot at each end of the cord and cut the excess.
y list!!! We only have to fill it with money and go on a trip !!!
