We are going to make a perfect craft to do with the little ones in the house and with which they can play afterwards: an articulated cardboard fish.
Ready to do it?
Materials that we are going to need
- Two cards of different colors
- Eyes
- Glue
- Scissors
- Ballpoint pen or marker
Hands on craft
1. Let's cut a square from one of the cards and draw the fins and the tail on another card of our fish.
2. We take the cardboard square and fold it in half. We unfold it again and we fold two of the corners towards the double that divides the cardboard, as if we were making an airplane.
3. We unfold everything again, leaving the square and we fold the cardboard twice in half. We will make cuts in the joined part of the cardboard, limiting the mark of the double of the corners. We will cut until there are a couple of fingers left to finish double the corners.
4. We unfold again and put glue on one of the folded corners and we superimpose the other one on top to glue them. With this we will have made the articulated body of our fish.
5. We cut the corner of the nose, rounding it.
6. We take the cardboard of the other color and we cut out the fins and the tail that we had drawn previously. We make some lines to simulate lines of the fins of the fish.
7. We glue the fins and the tail As seen in the image. We glue the eyes in the head area.
7. We cut a piece of cardboard the color of the fish's body to make the mouth. We will cut one of the edges in a rounded shape. We glue this piece of cardboard to the inside lower part of the body.
And ready! We already have our articulated fish ready to make it swim all over the house.
I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
