This little box with surprises has all its charm. Anyone who receives a gift like this where he can open the box and find a lot of opening cards, with messages and photos, apart from souvenirs or sweets will make it a perfect event. You just have to get a decorative box and make the pop-up cards step by step. Then the other components are made by themselves, we will place our sweets and close the box, and we will finish the end with a decorative bow.
The materials that I have used are:
- a decorative cardboard box with a lid and rectangular shape
- a heart shape template
- light and dark pink cardstock
- black cardboard
- a decorative bow made of sheer fabric
- elastic bands
- decorative stickers
- glue glue
- a compass
- hot silicone glue with gun
- a cutter
- a pencil
- a rule
- scissors

First step:
We will do two pink heart-shaped structures: the idea is to draw a square equal to four times the size of the heart template. If the heart template measures 8 × 8 cm as in my case, for example, we will multiply it by four times to form a 16 × 16 cm square.
Second step:
This square We fold it in the shape of a cross and we fold it again forming diagonals in all its corners. With these folds it will help us to be able to fold the card inwards by folding four of its sides. It can be seen in the photo.
Third step:
As we have made these folds we move them aside until they form a square. The part of the open folds will be facing up and the closed folds facing down. At this time We trace with a pencil the shape of the heart on top and cut out where we have drawn. We open the structure and we have to observe that we have left a kind of flower. With the compass we draw two small circles that we will paste in the center of the flowers.
Fourth step:
We draw on a black cardboard another two squares of the same measurements as before. We fold it in the shape of a cross and its diagonals and trace the shape of the hearts again in three of the quadrants that have been formed. Then we will cut them, in one of them we can cut without detaching part of the sides of the hearts. In this way we would have three joined hearts and an uncut square. Since we have made two equal structures, we join them and glue them on the part of their squares.
Fifth step:
We take the decorative box, remove the lid and with a cutter we are cutting the corners of the box so that it is completely open. We are going to take advantage of its sides or flaps to place our elements. On the longer sides we are going to place a piece of rubber that will hold the sweets. So that you don't see how the rubber is stuck, we have placed a piece of black cardboard above to make it more elegant. The piece of black cardboard will be completely tailored to the side and with its edges tucked in. That is why the measurements you take are a little larger to be able to make these folds. We glue all the pieces with hot silicone.
Step Six:
We put all our structures inside the box. You can decorate the flowers with a nice sticker, close it and stick it with silicone glue on the small sides of the box. We can also decorate the structure of the hearts in black with a sticker and even place some kind of written message, which is its purpose. In my case I have only placed a small photo in the center. We close the structure and glue it in the middle of the box.
Seventh step:
We put our treats inside the gums and with the cards or structures well closed we try to close the box and place its cover. To finish we put a nice decorative bow.
